Chicken Apple Bacon Hash

3-4 Free-range chicken thighs (or chicken breasts, whatever floats your boat)
1 Large organic apple
4 Slices pasture raised bacon
Salt and Pepper
This is about as easy as it gets. If you have some chicken leftover from last night’s dinner, it’s even easier.
Start by cutting up your bacon into about 1 inch pieces. Then chop up the chicken. Finally, dice up your apple.
Throw your bacon in a heated pan and when you start getting a little bacon grease, you can add the chicken. Let that warm up for a minute and add the apple. Season with a little salt and pepper to taste and give it a few turns every now and then.
This should only take a few minutes to cook.
Once the chicken is cooked and the apples are tender you’re ready to eat.
If your chicken is already cooked from dinner last night, just add that last so it gets just enough time to heat up but not over cook. That’s it!
Easy enough right? The sweet and salty flavor along with the savory and healthy fat from the pastured bacon make this incredibly satisfying.
