Brownie Batter Ice Cream (dairy free, grain and gluten free, paleo)

Vanilla Ice Cream
• 1 1/2 cups canned coconut milk
• 1/2 cup maple syrup
• 2 pasture raised eggs
• 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• pinch of salt

Brownie Batter
• 1 bar dark chocolate ( about 3 oz.)
• 1/2 cup almond flour
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
• 1/4 cup coconut sugar

Super Berry Cobbler [gluten-free, grain-free]

Happy Mother's Day to all you amazing Mamas out there!

My wife and I feel very blessed to be celebrating her second official Mama's Day with our awesome little man.


Today we're spending time with our families and there are
lots of flowers, sunshine, pancakes and this amazing recipe for Berry Cobbler. I wanted to share this with you quick before we head out for the day.

Spiced Hot Coco Cocoa

Brrrrrr..... it's getting chillier than... something that's really chilly (sorry, I can't brain today).

Time to get the fireplace going and invent a new hot drink to warm my bones.

Presenting Spiced Hot Coco Cocoa!




• 3/4 cup coconut milk
• 3/4 cup coconut water (more or less depending on how thick you like it)
• 2 tbsp pure unsweetened powdered cacao
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp nutmeg
• 1/2 tsp cardamom
• 1/2 tsp ginger
• 2 tbsp maple syrup

Pumpkin Spice Cookies (egg free, grain free, dairy free)

1 cup pumpkin puree
2/3 cup salted almond butter
3 tbsp fresh ground flax meal
3 tbsp coconut flour
1/2 cup organic (non-GMO) brown sugar, packed (or 1/2 cup coconut sugar with 2 tbsp molasses)
1/ 2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp ginger
pinch sea salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and mix very well.

Scoop dough into golf-ball size onto greased cookie sheet. Press with a fork to flatten.

Primal Strawberry Ice Cream

• 1 Cup Raw Milk

• 1 Cup Raw Cream

   (Alt: 1 can coconut milk)

• 1/2 Cup Maple Syrup

• 1/2 frozen organic strawberries, chopped

• 2 tsps. vanilla extract or 2 pods worth of vanilla beans

• Pinch of salt

• 4 pasture raised eggs (make sure you know your eggs since they are raw)

1. Combine ingredients in a large bowl and blend well with electric mixer. 

2. Pour into your frozen ice cream maker and turn on.

Coconut-Almond Pancakes

Basic Recipe

1/3 cup coconut flour
1/2 cup almond flour
 4 eggs
1/2 cup coconut milk
about 1/2 cup water (more or less for desired consistency)
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. sea salt
1 tbsp. maple syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Combine dry ingredients and mix well to remove clumps. Add wet ingredients and blend well with a whisk.

Melt  2 tablespoons coconut oil in large pan over medium/low heat. Use a ladle to pour 4” pancakes into pan. Cook approximately 5 - 8 minutes on each side or until outside is medi...
